Two Techniques used to Activate and Balance the Earth Star & Gaia Chakras
Technique One: Reiki Activation with Symbols (For Reiki Practitioners)
For those attuned to Reiki second and third degree, these symbols can enhance the activation of the Earth Star and Gaia chakras:
Cho Ku Rei (CKR): Amplifies energy flow, activates chakras, and fortifies grounding.
Dai Ko Myo (DKM): The mastery symbol that floods chakras with divine light, solidifying deeper activation through all spaces of time and directions of space.
How to Use Them:
- Begin by placing, or directing, your activated palm chakras on or near your feet, visualizing the Earth Star chakra opening like roots of a plant or tree, drawing out and down where the light roots then connect into and activate the Gaia chakra below.
- Draw CKR over the Earth Star chakra, visualizing strong roots expanding.
- Move to the Gaia chakra, drawing DKM ( at Mastery) or CKR followed by a reiki sandwich, allowing the Gaia Chakra to extend deep within the earth, like a tap root, until it connects into the core’s energy - allowing this radiant glow to flow up the tap root and into the Gaia Chakra.
- Hold focus on stability and integration, feeling the Reiki energy harmonizing and aligning your intention for more stability and grounding within your subtle energy centers.
Technique Two: Crystal Grid Activation (For Reiki and Non-Reiki Practitioners)
Crystals offer an effective alternative for activating and harmonizing the Earth Star and Gaia chakras.

Chakra Activation Technique:
- Place four Earth Star Crystals and four Gaia Chakra Crystals in the shape of a square. The Square represents the element of Earth according to the ancient Tattwa’s. Shape this crystal square outline big enough for you to stand within or place both your feet inside of if you are seated. To create the square outline alternate different stones or do as you feel naturally guided to do.
- Sit comfortably, breathing into your feet and lower chakras with your powerful visualization and connection to your body, broadcasting the intention of allowing the crystals to synchronize their frequency with yours. Visualize and imagine the stones lighting up, one by one, sending beams of light connecting one another until the square closes, and then the corners of the stone send a beam of light connecting into your energy, now prepared for the work at hand. Set the intention of activating and attuning your Earth Star and Gaia Chakras.
- Imagine your Earth Star awakening and uncurling deep roots that begin to extend into the earth below the feet. Once this is complete, the Earth Star chakra extends it’s energy down - tapping into and activating the Gaia Chakra. AS the Gaia Chakra activates, imagine as it opens up and extends a tap root deep into the earth, making it way to the core. All the while allowing the crystals to support the connection into the deepening layers of the earths crust, and core – imagining and meditating on this until you intuitively know you have reached the molten centre of the earth as we know it. Breathing and taking your time.
- Once your Gaia Chakra reaches the core, imagine it wrapping around and becoming one with the molten core. Invite this deeply grounding energy to flow up this tap root and into your feet, continuing up the energetic system until it reaches the heart centre – refilling your vitality and strength.
- Continue breathing and expanding light and grounding energy into all levels of our energetic being until you feel complete and grounded.
- Always close this meditative ritual with gratitude and appreciation for your planetary and source connection.
